The Industrial Waste to Energy Project, located at Ban Nong Klang Dong, Khao Hin Son Subdistrict, Phanom Sarakham District, Chachoengsao Province, has granted approval for its Environmental and Health Impact Assessment (EHIA) report for project or activities that may cause severe community impacts, including environmental quality, natural resources, and health, from the Expert Panel, according to the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning's letter No. 1009.3/11914, dated September 19, 2017.

The project has a daily industrial waste disposal capacity of 330 tons. The heat generated from combustion will be used to generate steam, and then produce 9.4 megawatts of electricity. The project can use of two groups of industrial waste as fuel:

1. Solid waste: cloth scraps, foam scraps, leather scraps, paper scraps, plastic scraps, rubber scraps, wood scraps, chemical absorbents, activated carbon, paint residue, contaminated sludge, glue residue.
2. Liquid waste: coolant (oil based and water based)
